Their time comes at no cost to you and is a significant benefit of your PGA Membership.

Having a good presence in the club is essential, so a BRO will assess your involvement in strategic direction and communications with the club.
Remuneration, contractual issues, increased hours and responsibilities, job security, legal advice, employment opportunities, recruitment, staff model, bullying and time management.
The ‘Business Health Check’ service will help objectively analyse your current position. It highlights the contribution that you make to the golf facility where you work and offers further guidance where applicable.
Business and marketing planning, new business advice, increasing revenue, promotional activity, vouchers and stock holding.
Understand your customers in more detail and know how satisfied your members/visitors are with the services you provide. It's important to be aware of the views, issues and requirements.
Provide support through information about training courses and educational opportunities, as well as workshops delivered by the BROs to support Members with business and other topics.
If your club or facility is struggling to increase participation, retain its membership, offset the increasing expenditure costs with growth of key income streams, or any of the other challenges facing the game, then the impact of you as the PGA Golf Professional will be, and should be, crucial.
The ‘Business Health Check’ service has been designed to help you objectively analyse your role. It aims to help highlight the contribution that you make to the golf facility where you work. The overall goal is to ensure each PGA Professional enjoys a proactive and productive working relationship with their golf facility.
Download the Business Health Check and carefully read through the '10 key questions' along with the accompanying notes. After reviewing the material, complete the assessment, take note of the concluding remarks, and most importantly, take action based on your findings.
Your PGA is here to help, but as with so many benefits of PGA membership, you need to take charge of making the first step and then hopefully, as a result, improved revenues for you and your golf facility.
