PGA in Scotland launch new stableford series for Members aged 50 and over

You may have seen the recent announcement from The R&A announcing a ticket ballot for The 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon from 14-21th July 2024.

Whilst The PGA is pleased to advise that there will be an allocation of tickets for PGA Members, numbers will be limited and the tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis.

We are therefore encouraging all PGA Members who are looking to secure attendance at The 152nd Open to apply in The Open’s Ticket Ballot which will be available for one month from Tuesday 27th June 2023, closing on Tuesday 25th July 2023.

Should a PGA Member be successful in The Open’s Ticket Ballot, but then also receive a ticket from the PGA at a later date, The R&A would be happy to refund the cost of the PGA Members ticket that was secured via the Ticket Ballot. Tickets for family and friends can only be secured through the ballot, as any allocation afforded to us by the R&A will be for the PGA Member only.

As mentioned above, and as with previous years, The PGA has only a limited number of tickets so you are strongly recommended to access the ballot to ensure attendance. It is important also to acknowledge that due to the limited supply of tickets, that The PGA cannot guarantee free access for all.

Further information regarding PGA Member tickets will be available in due course.
