Sir Nick said: “The growth of the game of golf is a passion that led to the creation of The Faldo Series over 27 years ago. The opportunities for young golfers to have a competitive pathway through the game, competing against the very best players from around the world has been the key to its success.

“A number of tour professionals as well as PGA Professionals have graduated from within its ranks. Working with The PGA, along with other key stakeholders, is key to the continued success of this charitable trust, it is an excellent opportunity for us to have a joint fund-raising lunch with The PGA in order to provide a welcome support to the future of our game. I am proud to work with The PGA in making this event a huge success.”

Robert Maxfield, Chief Executive of The PGA, commented: “We are delighted to announce Sir Nick Faldo as our guest speaker for our first PGA Lunch to be held in the Midlands.

“Sir Nick Faldo is widely regarded as the most successful golfer that Britain has ever produced and we look forward to hearing some of his stories and tales from a hugely successful career in golf.”
